The Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Bluffton presents a conceptual design for the future of the town. It is a planning document that describes the town's past and present. It also introduces goals for the future of Bluffton as identified by the town's residents and strategies for achieving these goals. It is designed to be a "living document" with annual evaluations and reassessments of its goals & objectives, with major reviews & evaluations conducted every five years at a minimum. Every 10 years a new, revised Plan must be developed and adopted. This document brings the Town of Bluffton into compliance with the "South Carolina Local Government Comprehensive Planning Enabling Act of 1994".
