Summary, etc.:
Clemson naturalist Patrick McMillan explores Port Royal Sound's diverse ecosystem. Due to its elevated salinity, a unique marine biosystem exists in the Port Royal Sound.  McMillan examines the ancient Horseshoe Crab; shorebirds, particularly Red Knots and their long migration from Southern South America specifically for the Horseshoe Crab; Dundlin Sandpipers; Roseate Spoonbills; Redbeard Sponge, and Sea Squirts. Shark researcher Michelle Evans joins McMillan to look at Bonnethead Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Stingrays, and Cobia.
